Recent reports suggest that Apple is preparing to release the alleged iPhone 8 in September 2017. The Cupertino-based company is also celebrating its 10th Anniversary next year and there are reports that iPhone 8 will be totally different from the previous Apple variants released.
Expected Features & Specs For The iPhone 8
According to reports, Apple may use an OLED display screen for the iPhone 8, instead of the standard LCD display. An OLED display screen for the iPhone 8 will offer brighter screen and a deeper color contrast, making the colors to pop out more for the Apple handheld.
The iPhone 8 is rumored to sport a full glass display, giving the Apple product an edge-to-edge display screen. The Cupertino-based company is also rumored the ditch the home button and is placing a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.
Meanwhile, Apple has hired professionals that tackle long-range wireless charging technology, meaning the iPhone 8 will no longer have a charging port as a feature. Wireless charging has existed in certain Android phones and maybe Apple could much likely explore that feature in one of their upcoming devices.
Borrowing curved edge from Samsung?
A curved edge screen maybe featured in the upcoming iPhone 8, similar to Samsung's Galaxy variants. If Apple really wants to venture on a curved edge iPhone 8, the Cupertino-based company would most likely use an OLED display screen due to the nature of the OLED display to respond better with a curved edge device.
The introduction of the curved screen could also mean that iPhone 8 will feature three variants in its release, instead of the standard two flagships. Apple may release a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch iPhone 8 flat screens for the company's 10th Anniversary in 2017 and then an additional flagship with a rounded display later on.

With Apple taking the iPhone 8 to new heights in the company's 10th anniversary next year, only time will tell of what will be next for the handheld device. For more iPhone 8 news and update stay tuned to Gamenguide
