If iPhone 8 looks like THIS, you should probably start queuing outside the Apple Store now

APPLE is expected to unveil a dramatically redesigned iPhone for the tenth anniversary of its hugely-popular smartphone next year, and if this 3D render is anything to go by – it's going to be enormously popular.

The 2017 iPhone is expected to resemble a single piece of glass, according to sources
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus only went on-sale in September, but Apple is already well into the development of the iPhone 8.
Apple is expected to pull-out all the stops of this next-generation smartphone, which will be released on the tenth anniversary of the iPhone.
According to some sources, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus look so similar to the previous two generations because Apple had to buy itself an extra year to complete its dramatic redesign.
Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive wants the 2017 iPhone "to appear like a single sheet of glass," according to the Wall Street Journal.
The Cupertino company is also rumoured to be experimenting with OLED display technology, as well as curved glass that wraps around the smartphone.

Apple also filed the US patent back in March 2015 that described three different technologies used to scan fingerprints, including one  that can be used to recognise a print through a glass display.
The patent suggests ultrasonic imaging is more accurate than using a standalone fingerprint sensor, like those in the Touch ID scanners used in current generation iPhones.
It also means , freeing space above and below the display and making the phone more compact.
Other manufacturers, like Huawei and LG, have avoided this problem by placing fingerprint sensors on the back of the device.
This allows them to bring the display much closer to the edge of the smartphone, eliminating the chunky book-ends at the top and bottom of the current iPhones.
